Royal Caribbean announces 2024 European season

The line will have seven ships in nine homeports, including the European debut of the “amplified” Oasis of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International has put its summer 2024 European season on sale.

It features new itineraries ranging from five to 17-nights, seven ships in nine homeports and the European debut of the “amplified” Oasis of the Seas.

Sailing from Barcelona and Rome, the 13-year-old vessel has undergone a $165 million upgrade, and now features the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea, entertainment across four stages and a variety of restaurants, bars and lounges, including the line’s first barbecue restaurant, Portside BBQ.

Anthem of the Seas will once again be homeporting in Southampton. Guests can experience life 100m above the ocean in the North Star glass observation capsule, try the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator and enjoy fresh sushi and sashimi from Izumi or imaginative cuisine at Wonderland.

It will sail seven-night voyages to Spain, France and the Norwegian fjords, while longer 11 to 14-night sailings will call into Lisbon, Portugal, Vigo, Spain and the Canary Islands.

Odyssey of the Seas will offer voyages from Rome; Serenade of the Seas will sail from Dubai and Barcelona; Explorer of the Seas will be based in Ravenna, Italy; Voyager of the Seas will operate from Ravenna, Rome, Barcelona and Piraeus, Greece. Jewel of the Seas will offer 11 to 17-night sailings from Amsterdam, calling at destinations in the Arctic Circle, the British Isles, Iceland and Ireland.
