Royal Caribbean boss addresses the trade

Richard Fain, the chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises, has recorded a video message for the trade, quoting Winston Churchill.

“This is not the end, it’s not even the beginning of the end but it is perhaps the end of the beginning…our situation is very similar,” he said.

The quote comes from an address Churchill gave after victory in Alamein, Egypt.

Fain added that Royal Caribbean was working with the US authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control, which recently pushed to extend the ban on US cruises.

“We have flattened the curve, now we need to think about the future,” he added.
