Royal Caribbean reveals sales team changes

Royal Caribbean International has revealed a new structure for its sales team, including a number of promotions.

Karen Tucker, who has previously held roles as Royal’s groups co-ordinator and air planning manager, has become head of field sales. She will report directly to Martin MacKinnon, director of sales, and will have a team of regional sales managers that includes Dionne Lalley, who has moved into the role from the insights team.

The international key account manager team will also now include Kelly Ashby. Rhianna Rees – a product of the line’s relationship with Chester University – has become sales planning executive.

Nicki Lewis, head of trade support, has also seen a number of new additions to her team, including: Jo Puccioni, previously brand manager, as trade marketing manager; Kerry Nicholson as e-learning manager; Holly Matthews, as Club Royal manager; Carla Hines, as sales admin manager; and Jo Griffiths, as senior trading, groups, netts & support executive.

“The relationships we hold with our trade partners in the UK & Ireland continue to be incredibly important to us and we know the team will set us up for success as we look forward to yet another year of incredible activity including the return of Anthem of the Seas to the UK in April, the newly amplified Allure of the Seas being homeported in Barcelona and the launch of our brand new ship Odyssey of the Seas in November”, said Martin MacKinnon, Sales Director UK & Ireland, Royal Caribbean International.
