Spirit of Adventure will embark on its journey on October 5, marking the first time a Saga ship has returned to international waters since the beginning of the global pandemic in 2020. The five-day Taste of the Continent cruise will sail from Dover before taking in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Zeebrugge.
Following Saga’s inaugural return to international cruises, its Spirit of Discovery ship will depart on a bumper 22-night Treasures of the Croatian Coast itinerary. Hvar, Split, Venice, Valletta’s Grand Harbour, Koto and Minorca will all be taken in on the journey.
Saga’s round-Britain cruises, that have been running throughout the summer, are also currently discounted with up to 35 per cent off.
Spirit of Adventure will be sailing a six-night itinerary from Westward to the Isles of Scilly, departing August 10, followed by a seven-night Western Wonders trip.
Following this on August 21, Spirit of Discovery will be departing on a six-night Wales and West Country cruise.
Both ships — which carry a maximum of 999 guests — will also be sailing Scotland’s highlands and islands later in the month, departing August 15, 23 and 27.
Saga has released a full calendar of its planned cruises on its website. For guests whose cruises were cancelled due to Covid, the company is offering the option to rebook on another cruise prior to them going on general sale.
Guests will need to have had both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine prior to boarding.
The Saga Cruise Promise is available on all bookings for the two ships — in the event that a cruise price is reduced, guests will be given the value of difference back from their original booking.
