Sail Europe this summer with Norwegian Cruise Line

A pioneer of ocean cruise for more than 57 years, Norwegian Cruise Line offers more than 250 European itineraries across its entire 2024/25 season

Can anything beat holidaying in Europe during the summer? From the boulevards of Barcelona to the sun-soaked terraces of Santorini, there’s little wonder why so many Brits choose to head to the Continent year in, year out. It’s also the reason why Norwegian Cruise Line invests so heavily in its European sailings.

A pioneer of ocean cruise for more than 57 years, Norwegian Cruise Line offers more than 250 European itineraries across its entire 2024/25 season. The destinations are iconic, from the Greek Isles to the delights of the Western Mediterranean as well as Northern Europe, there are few companies that offer as much choice when it comes to European cruises, with more than 150 European ports of call on offer, that’s more than any other contemporary cruise line. It’s not just the breadth of itineraries on offer, either. Norwegian Cruise Line will position 13 ships in Europe during the 2024/25 season, including its newest ships Norwegian Viva and Norwegian Prima. No wonder the company has been awarded Europe’s leading cruise line 16 years in a row by the World Travel Awards.

With Norwegian Cruise Line, there is a ship for everyone. From the brand new Norwegian Viva and Norwegian Prima to more intimate ships, like the Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Sun, which both accommodate fewer than 2,000 guests, meaning they’re capable of reaching those smaller ports that the big ships simply can’t get to. From racetracks to Broadway shows, everyone is catered for on Norwegian Cruise Line. And, with the company’s Studio accommodation for solo travellers, it doesn’t matter how big your group is, either.

Right now, guests can take advantage of NCL’s Free at Sea upgrade packages. These are available for £199pp (on six-eight day cruises) with travellers receiving Premium Beverages, Speciality Dining, WiFi, Excursion Discounts and 3rd and 4th Guests pay taxes only (on applicable sailings).

To break down Free at Sea further, premium beverages include a wide selection of soft drinks, spirits, cocktails, wines by the glass and bottled or draft beer served in all bars, lounges and restaurant. Speciality dining differs from ship to ship but typically NCL’s speciality dining offer includes Teppanyaki, Le Bistro and Cagney’s Steakhouse and more, all serving up some of the best food at sea. Excursion discounts are generous, too, with $50 per stateroom per port of call. And then, for families of three and four, with Free at Sea you’ll only pay the taxes on the cruise on select sailings – making Norwegian Cruise Line one of the best value holiday options available.
