Scenic Eclipse II to set sail in April 2023

As the ultra-luxury discovery yacht nears completion, the line has revealed more details of its new and updated features

Ultra-luxury line Scenic has confirmed that its new discovery yacht Scenic Eclipse II will set sail in April 2023.

Its inaugural voyage will be an 11-day Incredible Iberian Discovery cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona, departing on April 12.

The 228-guest vessel will include a number of features not found on Scenic Eclipse, including a steam room area with aromatherapy, an ice fountain and experience showers and a salt therapy lounge with heated beds.

The infrared chairs to relieve back pain and relax muscles that proved popular on Scenic Eclipse have been expanded into a dedicated infrared lounge, using colour light therapy to reinvigorate skin cells.

Scenic Eclipse II will also introduce a new bar area with indoor and outdoor seating as well as oval-shaped pool.

After making its debut in the Mediterranean, the ship will sail from Reykjavík to Copenhagen and a nine-day voyage around Scotland in August, followed by the Caribbean in October.

During the Antarctica season, the ice-class ship will sail 15-day itineraries roundtrip from Ushuaia, Argentina.
