After just six months in the role, Scenic Group managing director for UK and Ireland Richard Twynam has left the group.
In a post on LinkedIn, Twynam wrote: “For those not aware I chose to leave my previous role and am enjoying a little time in the garden.”
“I will of course miss the team a lot, great people that were very kind and welcoming to me and invested in my approach.”
A spokesperson for the Scenic Group said: “We can confirm that Richard Twynam resigned on Wednesday 26 April with immediate effect. While we recruit a replacement the wider UK leadership team will ensure all operations continue in a business-as-usual way.
“We thank Richard for his time with the business and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Speaking exclusively to Cruise Adviser earlier this year, Twynam stated he was incredibly positive about the 2023 outlook for The Scenic Group and that the importance of trade sales would remain the focus going forward.
