Scenic restarts European river cruise programme

Scenic has resumed its full European river cruise programme for the first time in two years as sailings have restarted on the Rhine.

The luxury cruise line set sail on the Rhine earlier this week departing from Amsterdam with its eight-day Rhine Highlights itinerary.

The cruise marked the first sailing in the line’s return to its full Europe river cruise programme since 2020.

After operating a small number of sailings in the Bordeaux region, as well as on the Douro and Rhine rivers in summer 2021, this year will be the luxury cruise line’s first full schedule since the start of the pandemic.

Scenic is set to operate more than 300 itineraries throughout Europe this year, sailing the Rhine, Main, Danube, Moselle, Seine, Rhône, Garonne, Gironde, Dordogne and Douro rivers.

Scenic has added new culinary cruises to its programme, including the 11-day Tastes of Southern France voyage and the 11-day Flavours of Bordeaux sailing.

Scenic is currently offering savings of up to £2,400 per couple across all departures this year. Guests will also receive complimentary private door-to-door chauffeur-driven transfers when booking before 16 May, 2022.
