Seabourn celebrates return of entire fleet as Sojourn sets sail

All of the line's five ships are now sailing again following the pandemic

Seabourn Soujourn returned to the water on Monday (June 6), marking the first time that Seabourn has had all five of its ships in operation since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.

The 450-guest Seabourn Sojourn departed from Athens on a 10-day voyage to Valletta. It joins Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest in the Mediterranean this summer and into the autumn, while Seabourn Ovation will visit Northern Europe and Seabourn Odyssey will explore Alaska.

Seabourn Venture, the first of the line’s two ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ships, embarks on its inaugural expedition this summer.

President Josh Leibowitz said the departure of Seabourn Sojourn was “an important milestone for the entire Seabourn family”. He continued: “The Seabourn Sojourn team members have been looking forward to this day and are eager to welcome guests back on board and provide them with the finest service, indulgences, and special ‘Seabourn Moments’ throughout their time on board with us.”

In May Seabourn’s autumn 2023 itineraries on three ships went on sale, including the line’s first Hawaiian sailing.
