Seabourn to return to Canada as cruising resumes

The line will offer a number of itineraries from May on Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Quest

Seabourn is finalising plans for a selection of voyages on the eastern and western sides of Canada, following the announcement from Canadian leaders that cruising can restart from April.

The line’s 2022 scheduled voyages feature Alaska and British Columbia between May and September, with Seabourn Odyssey offering a series of seven day itineraries between Vancouver and Juneau, and four 10- and 11-day sailings from Vancouver. They will offer the Ventures by Seabourn programme of expedition-style experiences led by the onboard expedition team.

From late August Seabourn Quest will explore the eastern side of Canada with 12-day voyages between Montreal and Manhattan, and one 12-day Canadian Autumn cruise. This will focus on Canada, sailing round-trip from Montreal in September. The ship will head south in late October from Montreal on a 14-day Atlantic Coast Harbours cruise to Miami.

The new guidance paves the way for Seabourn guests to sail in Canada for the first time in two years.

The line’s president Josh Leibowitz said: “We welcome this new guidance from the Canadian government that will allow our guests to visit beautiful ports in Canada again. We look forward to returning to these amazing destinations and offering our travellers a world of experiences on land and at sea.”

Last week Princess Cruises announced that it had finalised the programmes for its 2022 Alaska cruises.
