The itineraries feature 695 destinations around the world and will see the launch of new Nova-class ship Silver Ray
Silversea has unveiled its voyage collection for the 2024-25 season, which will feature 695 destinations around the world, and see the launch of its newest ship, Silver Ray.
The season, which will take place between March 2024 and May 2025, features expedition itineraries to 23 countries in Africa and the Indian Ocean, including a new 18-day voyage on Silver Cloud in April 2024 that will explore the coastal fishing culture of Madagascar’s semi-nomadic Vezo people; Madagascar’s Kirindy Forest Reserve; and the ruins of Kilwa Kisiwani in Tanzania.
Other highlights include 27 itineraries devoted to Asia and 52 expeditions aboard Silver Origin, which will take guests to see the natural wonders of the Galápagos.
The addition of the new Nova-class vessel Silver Ray to the fleet underlines the luxury line’s commitment to sustainability, incorporating a fuel cell system, battery technology and dual fuel engines that will use liquefied natural gas (LNG) as the main fuel.
The ship’s inaugural season will begin in May 2024 in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean before it heads across the Atlantic for cruises in the Caribbean and Central America, a circumnavigation of South America and an Amazon River cruise.
