Sky Princess to host Deal or No Deal

Sky Princess to host Deal or No Deal

Guests can compete on stage or play from their seat in the new show

Guests on Princess Cruises’ Sky Princess will be able to win prizes including a free cruise and $1,000 this summer, as the line announces a tie-up with TV game show Deal or No Deal

Sky Princess will sail 24 voyages roundtrip from Southampton between March and October, and the interactive game will be played in the Princess Theatre during every voyage.

Deal or No Deal is also available on Discovery Princess, the newest cruise ship in the Princess Cruises fleet, debuting from Los Angeles on March 27, as well as Regal Princess and Majestic Princess. There are plans to roll the game out fleet-wide in future.

The line’s vice president of entertainment experience, Denise Saviss, said: “Deal or No Deal offers a unique combination of entertainment and gamification that allows our guests to spectate or participate, in an extremely high-quality and realistic live experience of the popular TV game show.

“This new interactive game show adds to the already impressive lineup of memorable entertainment offerings to be enjoyed onboard.”

Guests can play along with their ‘case card’ with a buy-in ranging from $25-$50, as well as be one of two contestants – selected at random – who play live on stage for a chance to win up to $1,000. Guests in the audience who have purchased a game card work towards achieving eight matches to win up to $1,000 or a free cruise. The partnership is with entertainment company TimePlay.

Last week the line reported “unprecedented demand” for Enchanted Princess’ 2022 ex-UK season.
