The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection completes sea trials

The newbuild superyacht is expected to launch in August

Evrima, the inaugural yacht from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, has successfully completed a series of sea trials.

Viewed as one of the final shipbuilding milestones prior to launch, sea trials are a series of system tests that are carried out when the yacht is sailing on open waters.

Evrima’s sea trials in Santander, Spain, were led by Captain Steven MacBeath, in collaboration with a team of senior officers, engineers, contractors, and shipyard staff.

Evrima is the line’s first newbuild superyacht and is slated to launch in August. It will be followed by Ilma and Luminara, in 2024 and 2025.

The superyacht measures 190-metres and will offer spa treatments, onboard activities and entertainment. The signature restaurant is designed by Sven Elverfeld of Aqua, the three Michelin star restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg.
