The shift to all-inclusive

The shift to all-inclusive

One of the many benefits of cruising is knowing exactly what you are paying for and having the cost taken care of upfront.

More cruise lines are opting to offer all-inclusive packages to alleviate the stress of a final bill to the customer; with flights, accommodation, food, drink and gratuities all being covered in the UK before a customer even sets off for their holiday. At Cruise Nation we are thrilled to be able to offer these premium deals for customers on destinations including the Mediterranean and Caribbean, departing from a range of ports.

Free drinks packages are an excellent incentive to get more custom, particularly among families and large groups. Customers receive excellent value for money and booking this type of package can often work out cheaper for them.

Tipping on board cruise ships can be a contentious issue

Last month saw the introduction of Premium All Inclusive by Norwegian Cruise Line, setting the trend for contemporary cruising. The new concept simplifies holiday spending and provides customers with a care-free cruise experience; despite the fact the upfront price seems much higher, it includes premium drinks in all bars, lounges and dining venues on board cruises, including branded drinks. Additional touches included complimentary bottled water in the ship’s rooms and even more perks for guests staying in the cruise line’s luxurious suites.

Tipping on board cruise ships can be a contentious issue but Norwegian’s Premium All Inclusive packages include service charges as well as gratuities on services. It’s a much more relaxing experience for guests when they don’t have to dip into their wallets once on holiday.

Costa Cruises have just announced its drinks packages on their 2018 products, offering possibly one of the best value “All Inclusive Beverages Package” at sea. These packages can start from as little as £18.80 per day if pre-booked.

MSC is also offering more promotions on all-inclusive packages; in celebration of its 2018 itineraries, selected sailing dates will include free Wi-Fi throughout the voyage, free 24-hour room service, continental breakfast within cabins and free activities for children.

While Cruise Nation has a number of all-inclusive packages available, our teams can also offer quotes for adding drinks packages to other great value cruises. This helps take away the hassle of “pay as you go” spending and allow customers to budget more easily. These add-ons can either be purchased in advance at the time of booking or upon arrival at the ship.

All-inclusive offers have been carefully created to suit the needs of customers, who are all looking for a simpler and more affordable holiday experience, and it makes perfect sense for more cruise lines to be adapting to this preference.
