Virgin Voyages promotes key sales leaders
Virgin Voyages has promoted Shane Riley and John Diorio to vice president of sales to “help grow the brand’s sales presence around the world”.
Riley covers UK and international sales, while Diorio covers North American sales.
Riley has helmed the expansion of the company’s UK-based sales team and the development of emerging regions, including Australia.
“Over the past several years, Shane and John have demonstrated the ability to produce strategic partnerships and achieve tremendous growth for the company,” says Diana Block Garcia, senior vice president of revenue, sales and itinerary. “With an unparalleled approach to sales, both Shane and John have been fundamental members of Virgin Voyages’ sales teams yielding the success of the brand. We’re thrilled to announce their promotions to vice president.”
Virgin Voyages first ship, Scarlet Lady, launched at the end of 2021. Valiant Lady will make its debut in Portsmouth this March before moving to Barcelona in May for a series of seven-night voyages in the Mediterranean, while Resilient Lady will hit the high seas from Athens in August with a raft of Adriatic Sea itineraries.
