Voyages to Antiquity to close
Voyages to Antiquity, the one ship cruise line, is to close at the end of October, according to a letter sent out by the line’s managing director.
The move follows the line announcing that it would be chartering its only ship, the Aegean Odyssey, from 2020 for three years, as well as an engine failure last April that meant it had to cancel 10 departures.
The statement said that there would be staff available to take calls on the line’s final four departures of 2019.
“We would like to thank you for your support over what has been a very successful decade for Voyages to Antiquity,” Jos Dewing said.
“We have staff ready to answer questions over the coming months and once again thank you for your understanding at this difficult time.”
