Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep to set sail with P&O

P&O Cruises has joined forces with Aardman, the creators of Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, to bring character-based activities for families to its new ship Iona.

Children in The Reef kids clubs can enjoy themed dance classes and craft workshops where they can make Gromit ears and Shaun the Sheep masks.

There will also be screenings of Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep films in the cinema, and passengers will be able to have their photos taken with the characters.

P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow, said: “It’s not easy finding a holiday that caters to everyone’s needs and when you’re travelling with children, your happiness is linked to theirs.

“This new partnership with Aardman will further enhance our wide range of choice and flexibility for families allowing everyone to have the time of their lives whilst relaxing, recharging, making memories and spending quality time together.”

All activities are included in the cost of the holiday.

An Iona school summer holiday cruise leads in at £699 per adult and £599 per child for an inside cabin on a seven-night voyage on the Norwegian Fjords, departing August 6, 2022. The price includes kids’ clubs, full-board meals and entertainment.
