48m Gulf Craft Superyacht Sehamia Sold in $13.5M

Bryan Conrad

The 47.6-metre superyacht Sehamia, built by Gulf Craft, has officially changed hands, adding another quiet but notable sale to the global superyacht market.

The buyer was represented by Pierre-Eliott Duverneuil of Moana Yachting, while the seller was introduced by Grégory Gheraïa of BlackOrange Yachts alongside Benjamin Parratte of Balance Yachting.

While the final sale price wasn’t made public, Sehamia was last known to be on the market for $13.5 million.

The deal highlights ongoing demand for large, high-volume yachts that are designed to host big groups without sacrificing comfort.

Designed for Space, Comfort, and Easy Living

One of Sehamia’s biggest strengths is her sheer sense of space. With an internal volume of 525 gross tonnes, she feels far larger than many yachts in her size range.

Her naval architecture was developed by Yankee Delta Studio, while Gulf Craft handled both the exterior and interior design in-house. The result is a yacht that feels modern, balanced, and practical, without trying too hard to be flashy.

Sehamia can comfortably welcome up to 16 guests across 8 staterooms, making her ideal for large families or owners who love entertaining.

The owner’s suite sits on the bridge deck, offering added privacy and elevated views away from the main guest areas.

One rare and especially guest-friendly feature is her 2 onboard elevators, which connect all decks. Combined with a generous beach club and garage, the yacht is clearly built for relaxed, everyday enjoyment on the water.

Smooth Cruising with Proven Engineering

Power comes from twin MTU engines, giving Sehamia a comfortable cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 17.5 knots. Her performance is well-suited to long-distance cruising without feeling rushed or aggressive.

For added comfort, the yacht is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers, keeping movement to a minimum whether underway or at anchor. This makes a noticeable difference during longer stays in quiet bays or busy anchorages.

Overall, Sehamia offers exactly what many buyers are looking for today: space, reliability, and a layout that works in real life.

Her sale reinforces the steady appeal of well-built, high-capacity superyachts that focus on comfort rather than trends.

The launch adds to a growing wave of milestone superyacht projects, including Turquoise Yachts’ recent debut of its 88-metre flagship Angelique, which has already set a new benchmark for the shipyard’s largest build to date.
