Sale Spotlight: No Rush, Armani’s First Superyacht Sold

The biggest story this week is the sale of No Rush, a 72-metre Admiral superyacht entirely designed by the late Giorgio Armani, his first and most talked-about maritime creation. The transaction was brokered off-market with Royal Yacht International introducing the buyer, and IYC representing the seller.

While the final sale price wasn’t publicly disclosed, Royal Yacht International cites a replacement value around €155 million roughly $181 million USD, based on shipyard valuation.

Explorer and Performance Segments Remain Active

Ezgy, a 30-metre Blaundus explorer yacht built in 2021, also found a new owner. The yacht was last offered at about €6.25 million (approximately $7.3 million USD) before the sale.

Activities in the mid-size range continue with multiple motor yachts and performance craft reported sold:

  • Contigo (Benetti) was confirmed sold this week.
  • Serenity, a 37-metre Flagship yacht, found a new owner with IYC, Seakeepers and Reel Deal Yachts facilitating the transaction.
  • GoldenEye, a 54-metre Overmarine Mangusta, has also changed hands.
  • Captain Morgan II (Azimut) was sold via Denison Yachting.
  • Scott Free, a 32.5-metre President yacht, completed a sale that was represented by Yacht Sales International.

Market Insight: Demand Holds Steady Across Segments

This week’s confirmed sales show the yacht market remains diversified:

  • Ultra-luxury superyachts like No Rush continue to attract private buyers even in confidential deals.
  • Explorer and adventure-oriented yachts such as Ezgy stay in demand for practical cruising and global range.
  • Mid-size motor yachts maintain solid liquidity, often trading quietly with dealers and brokers facilitating off-market deals.
