Riviera Travel has confirmed plans to add a brand-new river ship, Riviera Reflection, to its growing fleet in 2027. The announcement highlights the company’s continued focus on refined river cruising in Europe.
According to the company, the new ship will officially debut on the Danube River in September 2027. Bookings for the vessel are set to open earlier, starting March 18, 2026.
Riviera Reflection will join the company’s modern Radiance Class fleet. She will sail alongside sister ships Riviera Radiance and Riviera Resplendence, reinforcing the brand’s presence on Europe’s most popular waterways.
Designed for Comfort and Modern River Cruising
Riviera Reflection has been designed with guest comfort at the center of every detail. The ship will feature 89 cabins spread across three passenger decks.
At the top end, Grand Suites on the Diamond Deck will offer a spacious 344 square feet. These suites include a separate living area, king-size bed, and a private balcony with outdoor seating.
Superior Suites, located on both the Diamond and Ruby Decks, measure 258 square feet. They feature floor-to-ceiling French balconies and dedicated lounge areas for relaxing views of the river.
Standard cabins on the Diamond and Ruby Decks offer 172 square feet of space. Each includes a French balcony and comfortable indoor seating, ideal for scenic cruising.
Cabins on the Emerald Deck will feature fixed windows. These rooms are designed to offer the same comfort in a more compact layout.
A Familiar Yet Fresh Experience Onboard
Public spaces onboard Riviera Reflection aim to balance elegance with a relaxed atmosphere. A split-level lounge will serve as a central gathering space for guests throughout the day.
The ship will also introduce a third dining venue called Mosaic, adding variety to onboard dining options. This new concept is expected to complement Riviera’s existing culinary offerings.
Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel, said the response to the Radiance Class has been strong. He noted that Riviera Reflection represents the next step in refining the guest experience.
While full itinerary details have not yet been released, the company confirmed more information will follow when sales open. The debut on the Danube positions Riviera Reflection for one of Europe’s most iconic river routes.
The announcement follows a wave of itinerary reveals across the luxury cruise sector, including Oceania Cruises’ newly unveiled first voyages for Sonata, which will span more than 90 destinations worldwide starting in 2027.
With demand for river cruising continuing to grow, Riviera Travel appears focused on steady, thoughtful expansion. Riviera Reflection is set to strengthen the brand’s reputation for comfort, design, and immersive river journeys.
