Amels 6009 Superyacht Successfully Launched and Sold Ahead of Delivery

Damen Yachting has officially launched the latest Amels Limited Editions 6009 superyacht, confirming that the yacht has also been sold ahead of delivery later this year.

With her launch, the yacht now enters the final phase of construction, including outfitting and sea trials, before she is handed over to her new owner.

The launch marks an early milestone for 2026 and highlights continued confidence in the Amels Limited Editions platform.

For many owners, the appeal lies in combining a proven technical foundation with the freedom to personalize interior spaces without the uncertainty of a full custom build.

As with previous Amels 60 yachts, this latest hull is designed to balance efficiency, comfort, and timeless styling qualities that continue to resonate strongly in today’s market.

Design Collaboration with Familiar Names

The interior of the new Amels 6009 has been created by Winch Design, continuing a long-standing relationship between the British studio and the Amels brand. This project marks their 21st collaboration on an Amels superyacht, underlining a design partnership built on consistency and trust.

Inside, the yacht features a carefully layered color palette that changes subtly from deck to deck. Softer, sandy tones dominate the lower decks, while blues define the main deck living spaces.

Upper decks introduce deeper accents, including reds, greens, and golds, creating a sense of progression as guests move through the yacht.

Externally, the yacht carries the unmistakable styling of Espen Øino International, including the signature trapezoid-shaped windows on the main deck. These elements give the Amels 60 its instantly recognizable profile while maximizing natural light inside.

A Proven Platform with Modern Appeal

According to Damen Yachting, the launch and sale of this Amels 60 reflect a growing demand for yachts that blend sustainability, flexibility, and reliable delivery schedules.

The Limited Editions concept allows owners to customize interiors while benefiting from tested naval architecture and predictable build timelines.

Rob Luijendijk, commercial director at Damen Yachting, noted that the Amels 60 continues to offer a compelling option for owners who want the reassurance of proven performance alongside next-generation technology.

He added that the shipyard looks forward to working closely with the owner’s team as the yacht moves toward delivery.

Recent brokerage activity across the sector continues to highlight steady buyer demand, with several notable transactions reported in recent weeks.

With final outfitting now underway, this newly launched Amels 6009 stands as another example of why the Amels 60 series remains one of the most successful platforms in the modern superyacht market quietly refined, technically sound, and built to last.
