Italian yacht builder Codecasa has officially started construction on a new 43-metre motor yacht, moving forward on a speculative build for the seventh unit in its successful Codecasa 43 series.
Known internally as Hull F82, the yacht is already taking shape at the yard, with delivery planned for spring 2028. Building on speculation shows strong confidence in the continued demand for this proven platform.
Previous yachts in the series, including Gioia and Boji, have helped establish the Codecasa 43 as a well-balanced option for owners looking for classic styling, generous volume, and long-range capability.
Hull F82 is not a direct repeat of earlier vessels. Codecasa has introduced a series of refinements, continuing its approach of evolving each hull based on feedback and experience from earlier builds.
Interior Layout Designed for Comfortable Living
The new Codecasa 43 features a steel hull paired with an aluminium superstructure, a combination that supports durability and stability while keeping weight under control.
A vertical bow, large windows, and clean exterior lines give the yacht a modern yet timeless profile. Just under the 500-gross-ton mark, the yacht offers generous interior volumes.
Two separate saloons are spread across the main deck and bridge deck, giving guests distinct spaces for relaxing, entertaining, and dining. The main saloon flows naturally into a dining area designed to seat up to 12 guests comfortably.
The galley is positioned forward, allowing crew to move efficiently during service without disrupting guest areas. This practical layout reflects Codecasa’s long-standing focus on functionality alongside elegance.
Owner-Focused Accommodation and Long-Range Performance
The owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck and is designed as a private retreat. It includes twin ensuite bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, and a dedicated lounge area, offering a sense of separation from the rest of the yacht.
Guest accommodation is located on the lower deck, with two double cabins and two twin staterooms fitted with Pullman berths. In total, the layout supports flexible hosting while maintaining comfort and privacy for all guests.
Crew areas are fully equipped to accommodate up to nine crew members, ensuring smooth operations on longer voyages.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines, Hull F82 is expected to reach a top speed of 16 knots and cruise efficiently at 11 knots, delivering an impressive range of around 4,000 nautical miles.
With construction now underway, Hull F82 continues Codecasa’s steady evolution of a design that blends classic craftsmanship with modern expectations for comfort and capability.
Similar momentum is also being seen in the U.S. yacht-building sector, where Westport recently launched its first 41-metre raised pilothouse yacht, reflecting growing demand for semi-custom designs in this size range.
