Marella Cruises relaxes Covid testing policy
The line will remove all pre-departure testing for international sailings across its fleet from October, but will continue to follow guidance
Marella Cruises has announced the relaxation of its travel testing policy.
The line – which is is part of TUI UK and Ireland and TUI Group – will remove all pre-departure testing for international sailings from October, but it will continue to follow local guidance accordingly.
Currently, under Greek law, all customers must be tested by a medical professional at the port terminal before boarding the ship. Therefore, all Marella Cruise guests aged two and over, sailing from Corfu will need to purchase and complete an antigen test the day before boarding the ship.
Chris Hackney, managing director of Cruise for TUI UK and Ireland said: “As always, our customers are our number one priority, and the relaxation of these rules means our guests can enjoy a simpler process pre-travel, without having to spend any additional costs.
“We look forward to continuing to welcome both new and existing customers onboard our ships for our Winter 2022 and Summer 2023 itineraries.”
