As 2026 begins, Riverside Luxury Cruises is taking a moment to reflect on what turned out to be a defining year. For the river cruise brand, 2025 marked a period of real momentum and steady growth.

The company says it doubled its North American sales compared to 2024, a milestone that exceeded industry averages. It was a strong signal that Riverside’s approach to small-ship luxury is resonating with travelers.

Jennifer Halboth, CEO of Riverside Luxury Cruises North America, described the past year as one of validation. She said the results confirmed the direction the company chose when it launched less than three years ago.

Riverside emphasized that growth didn’t come at the expense of service. The brand maintained its focus on refined onboard experiences and attentive hospitality throughout the year.

Partnerships That Helped Shape the Year

Beyond sales, Riverside also made meaningful strides through strategic partnerships in 2025. These relationships helped expand the brand’s reach among luxury travelers and travel advisors.

In July, Riverside became a preferred partner of Ensemble, a respected network of boutique travel agencies in the U.S. and Canada. The move strengthened the company’s ties with advisors who specialize in high-end travel planning.

Later in the year, Riverside reached another milestone by joining Virtuoso’s global luxury travel portfolio. The network includes thousands of premium travel partners across more than 100 countries.

Halboth noted that being welcomed by both Ensemble and Virtuoso in the same year was especially meaningful. She credited travel advisors as a key driver behind Riverside’s growing reputation.

What’s Next for Riverside in 2026

With a successful year behind it, Riverside is now focused on what comes next. The company plans to expand its itineraries and introduce new themed cruises in 2026.

Upcoming sailings will include experiences built around shared interests, such as golf and craft beer. Guests can also expect new surprises within Riverside’s already well-regarded culinary program.

This move also aligns with a wider shift in the luxury segment, as brands such as the Seaside Collection make their entry into the high-end river cruise market to tap into growing demand for curated, intimate travel experiences.

As the brand moves forward, Riverside says its goal remains simple. Grow thoughtfully, stay personal, and keep delivering a luxury experience that feels relaxed and genuine.
