Compagnie du Ponant launches South American programme

French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant has revealed its South American programme for 2015-2016, including cruises to the Amazon, Bridgetown and Acapulco.

The company, which is the only luxury line to sail under the French flag, is offering 10 departures between October 2015 and March 2016. The voyages will be onboard three of its mega yachts, Le Boreal, L’Austral and Le Lyrial.

Compagnie du Ponant will also be introducing a ‘Green Expeditions’ programme, with zodiac trips onto the waterways of the Amazon, Orinoco, San Blas Archipelago and the Chilean fjords.

One example South American cruise is an 11-night sailing between Acapulco and Fuerte Amador, priced at €2,490 per person.

Cruise price includes all meals, an English speaking lecturer, Captain’s welcome cocktail and gala dinner, wine during meals and water sports (except scuba diving).
