Cruise & Maritime announces first world cruise
Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) is to launch its first round the world cruise with its new flagship vessel, Magellan.
Departing Tilbury on January 5, 2017 the vessel will circumnavigate the globe with calls at the West Indies, Panama Canal, French Polynesia, Austalia, Southeast Asia and the Far East, India, the Red Sea, Suez Canal and the Holy Land and Mediterranean.
It will return to London on May 5, 2017 after 120 days.
There will also be an option to join the cruise for a leg of its mammoth journey.
Chris Coates, the commercial director for Cruise & Maritime voyages commented, “The introduction of Magellan in 2015 has considerably broadened CMV’s market appeal and level of interest for our product with record sales achieved this year. Magellan’s newly released World Cruise provides a great earning opportunity for the travel trade with £12million of commission on offer and an 18 month lead selling period to fully embrace the promotion of this wonderful voyage.”
The cruise, which is on sale now, has an early booking discount of 40 per cent, with twin saver fares starting from £8,999, £75 a night.
A reduced 25 per cent single supplement is available for solo travellers, who will pay £13, 629, on superior grade cabins.
