Hurtigruten adds extra Manchester departure

Norwegian coastal operator Hurtigruten has added an extra flight from Manchester for its passengers in the northwest of England.

The direct flight to Tromso on 17 March 2016 is being offered as an additional departure date to customers booking a six day Arctic Highlights voyage. The trip includes two nights in a hotel in Tromso and a three night voyage from Tromso to Kirkenes and back to Tromso.

The price for the package starts at £859 per person and includes flights, hotel accommodation on bed and breakfast basis and a three day voyage on half board basis (based on two people sharing an inside cabin).

Other departure dates and regional airports other than Manchester are also available.

The company also announced that customers who book one of its classic round voyages will receive either a digital camera (worth £399) or binoculars (worth £384) for free.

The offer is valid on bookings made by the end of March 2016, for departure from 1 April to 30 September 2016. Only one item will be offered per cabin and is subject to availability.

Prices for the voyage start from £1,249 per person departing from Bergen on 6 April on MS Midnatsol, based on two people sharing an inside cabin on full board basis. Flight and transfer packages start from an additional £330 per person. Excursions are extra.
