Oceania hires new head of sales

Oceania Cruises has hired a new head of sales for UK & Ireland, after undergoing what the company describes as an “impressive expansion” over the last ten years.

Pritti Mehta, who recently left Silversea, will report directly to Bernard Carter.

Carter, the managing director EMEA said “Priti’s track record and her enthusiasm for the cruise sector as a whole, paired with her extensive knowledge of genuine luxury makes her the ideal person to take on this challenging role at such an exciting time in our growth. We are delighted that she is joining our sales team and we look forward to her driving our relationship with agents in the UK and Ireland.”

Mehta started her role on Monday, having worked in the travel industry for over 25 years, ten of which have been with Oceania’s competitor, Silversea.
