P&O Cruises has revealed details of new ship Iona’s maiden season, following the ship’s 2020 launch.
The new ship, which will be the biggest P&O has ever launched, will sail in the Norwegian fjords, Mediterranean, North America and Canada. There will be also be a series of mini-cruise options available.
Pre-registration for the maiden season opens today but will go on sale to Top Tier Peninsular Club members first, from September 10, before going on general sale on September 12.
The rest of P&O’s 2020 summer season will go on sale on September 17 for Top Tier Peninsular Club members and on general sale on 19 September.
Paul Ludlow, P&O Cruises senior vice president, said: “This is the year for those who have never before considered a cruise to see the broadest range of stunning ports of call and exclusive dining experiences. The brochure also features Iona’s inaugural season in the Norwegian fjords, a destination that should only be experienced by sea to appreciate fully the spectacular landscape and activities.
“Whether it is travel with family, friends, multi-generational or a solo escape, a holiday with P&O Cruises works for everyone. Active, adrenaline-filled adventures can be combined with indulgent spa sessions and quiet moments of relaxation. Wine-tasting classes with a group or a peaceful glass of Champagne on the balcony looking out to sea; a kayak down a flowing fjord or a meticulously prepared dinner in beautiful surroundings; football with a legendary player or tuition in the Tango – a P&O Cruises holiday really can be whatever our guests want it to be, without compromise.”
The company is running a low deposit offer on all summer 2020 cruises until December 3.
