Royal Caribbean launches family cruise brochure on tablet
The flagship cruise line of Royal Caribbean Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, has launched an interactive family cruise brochure for tablet devices, marking a big first for the cruise industry.
The brochure, which is free to download, has been developed with interactive features, videos and links to the company’s new game Penguin Ahoy!
There is also information on onboard restaurants, itineraries and special early booking offers.
Jo Briody, director of marketing & PR, UK & Ireland, Royal Caribbean International said: “Our new tablet friendly family cruise brochure is designed to allow families to plan their holidays together, and to showcase all of our family friendly videos and onboard features in one place.
“We hope that its ease of use and inspiring content will urge more families to consider a cruise for the first time.”
At the time of writing the app had only received positive feedback, with one reviewer writing: “Some really good videos and extra bits of info.
“Really interesting to see what Royal Caribbean offer for the kids. I’m thinking of booking for next year now! Looks a great holiday option for the whole family.”
Royal Caribbean International currently has 21 ships which call at over 270 global destinations.
