Royal hires head of cruise specialists

Royal Caribbean has promoted Adam Sharp to head of cruise specialists, filling the role in the company’s senior leadership team.

The company has also hired Joanna Guest as its regional sales manager for the south west.

Sharp has worked with Royal Caribbean for the last five years, most recently as its head of port operations and guest port services, EMEA. Prior to that he held positions at Carnival Corporation. He will report directly to Ben Bouldin, the company’s sales director.

Guest was previously a cruise expert at Tui’s stores in Bristol. Hayley Thompson, who was previously the regional sales manager for the south west, is relocating to cover London and the South East.

We are committed to providing the best support and value add to our agency partners and with Adam as the final addition to my senior leadership team, combined with Joanna’s deep knowledge of the South West region, I’m confident that we have the right team in place to keep delivering exactly what they need.”

The company also recently hired Sarah Weetman from All Leisure Holidays as its head of retail. Steve Williams, Royal Caribbean’s former head of sales, left the company recently to join MSC.
