Silversea delays 2020 launches
Luxury line confirms that expansion plans unaffected
Silversea has confirmed that Silver Moon and Silver Origin will both be delayed.
The two vessels had both been due to launch this year. Silver Moon, a sister ship to Silver Muse, was due to be launched in August but will be delayed by two months. Silver Origin, the line’s new vessel for the Galapagos, will be launched in August, a delay of one month.
During a virtual press conference, Roberto Martinoli, the president and CEO of Silversea, said that future expansion plans were unaffected. The line currently has five ships on order, including Moon and Origin.
