Cunard unveils new 2018 itineraries
Cunard has announced a series of new voyages and special events on its three ships — the Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria — for its 2018 programme.
Itineraries include 20 maiden calls, Hamburg Harbour Party Voyages, five Christmas Market voyages and a special five night New Year Voyage calling in Amsterdam on December 31.
Specials include a third Transatlantic Fashion Week sailing on board Queen Mary 2, which includes talks from fashion-world luminaries including British writer and journalist Colin McDowell MBE.
Elsewhere is the Voyage du Vin, wine-tasting special on board Queen Victoria, and A Journey of Genealogy, which will offer passengers to trace their family trees on the Queen Mary 2 in collaboration with Ancestry.com.
There is also A Photographic Journey to the Land of the Midnight Sun on Queen Elizabeth’s Norwegian Voyage. The cruise will host photography experts such as Paul Ward.
The Big Band Ball will return on Queen Elizabeth, where a 13-piece Big Band Orchestra will play to guests with music from Glen Miller to Duke Ellington.
Angus Struthers, director, Cunard says: “Our 2018 main programme offers an incredible richness and variety with itineraries and events that appeal to all.
“Whether it’s a two-night short break or a 24-night voyage the Queens of Cunard offer every single passenger luxury on a grand scale. Our fleet has long been synonymous with glamour and style, so what better way to experience everything the world has to offer than from an iconic Cunard Queen?”
