Cunard’s Insight Speakers programme to partner with The New York Times
Cunard Line has announced a partnership with The New York Times as part its Insight Speakers programme.
Former correspondents, columnists and writers for the celebrated newspaper will join guests on the Queen Mary 2 to speak on a range of subjects on all eastbound transatlantic crossings in 2016.
The series of talks will begin on January 3, 2016. Speakers will include former foreign correspondent and columnist Clyde Haberman, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist David Cay Johnston and Peter Lewis, former senior writer at The New York Times and Fortune Magazine.
Angus Struthers, marketing director for Cunard, said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with The New York Times to curate such an enriching and entertaining travel adventure. This will be an exciting enhancement to our Cunard Insights programme, with a calibre of experts that will surely deliver a stimulating and thought-provoking experience for our passengers.”
Furthermore, those booking on the January 3 sailing can buy a package that includes a tour of the newsroom and brunch at The New York Times prior to sailing. The programme is capped at 100 guests and must be booked by contacting Times Journeys.
