New agent incentive on U by Uniworld bookings

U by Uniworld – the new river cruise brnad introduced by Uniworld to capitalise on the growing millennial market – has announced its first Sell Three, Sail Free promotion.

Travel agents who make at least three new bookings on any 2018 U by Uniworld voyage up to September 30 will receive a free balcony cabin cruise for themselves on any of the 2018 or 2019 U by Uniworld sailings.

Agent registration opens for Clia events in Manchester, Norwich and Malaga

Agent registration has opened for three Clia UK and Ireland events for this autumn: two Luxury and River Cruise Showcases in Manchester and Norwich in September, and its inaugural European Luxury Cruise Showcase in Malaga in October.

Andy Harmer, Clia senior vice-president membership and director UK & Ireland, said: “We are delighted to announce that registration is open for agents for these three events.”

At the Luxury and River Cruise Showcases in Manchester and Norwich, on September 13 and 20 respectively, around 100 agent places are available at each location.

The events are an opportunity to meet the Clia team and cruise lines representing these sectors of the cruise industry, and to learn about the latest innovations in the luxury and river cruise sectors.

Following the two UK-based events, the association is hosting its inaugural European Luxury Cruise Showcase in Malaga on October 15 and 16.

Harmer said: “This two-day event will include ship visits onboard Silversea’s Silver Whisper and Seabourn’s Ovation, events courtesy of Visit Costa Del Sol and their partners and keynote conference sessions and a cruise trade fair.

“This unique event has limited availability, due to maximum ship visit numbers, so please book early to guarantee your place. This event is open for bookings from Clia member travel agents only.”

Luxury line Paul Gaugin Cruises is offering agents a £150 Lifestyle Voucher for bookings made in July for any of their 2018 cruises in Tahiti, the South Pacific and Fiji.

Earn up to £150 per booking with Crystal

Throughout July, travel agents can earn up to £150 per booking with Crystal’s latest incentive.

For every 2018 ocean, yacht or river sailing booked, agents will earn a £150 Lifestyle Voucher. For every 2018 ocean or river Getaway sailing booked, they will earn a £75 Lifestyle Voucher. Bookings must be made before July 31 to qualify and there is no limit to the number of bookings.
