Fred Holidays becomes GSA for Victory Cruise Lines

Fred Holidays has become the UK GSA for Victory Cruise Lines, a small-ship operator specialising in the Great Lakes.

The line, which is the only operator to call at ports of call on all five Great Lakes, also has cruises to New England/Canada and the St. Lawrence Seaway.

Victory Cruise Lines has a fleet of two 202-passenger vessels, the Victory I and Victory II – the latter of which launches this year.

Speaking about the announcement, Simon Chambers, operations manager at Fred Holidays, said: “Having experienced Victory Cruise Lines’ fantastic product for myself, I am delighted that we can bring their unique cruise experience to the UK market. Holidaymakers are always searching for new stand-out, immersive experiences and Victory Cruise Lines’ will certainly deliver this with their all-inclusive nature and emphasis on visiting places of natural beauty, cultural charm and historical interest.”

It was also revealed that Trevor Dupont, the former sales manager at P&O Cruises, is working on the project.

All shore excursions are included within the fare, as is food and service throughout the cruise including breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks, and a special High Tea Service.

A pre-dinner cocktail party is also included every evening – as well as house wine, beer, soft drinks and non -premium alcohol.

A nine-night Great Lakes Grand Discovery’ between Toronto & Chicago, starts at £4,999 per person based on two sharing. Flight and/or hotel inclusive fares are available on request.
