Lines make offers to All Leisure customers
A number of cruise lines have made offers to both travel agents and customers affected by the closure of All Leisure Group (ALG).
ALG, which ran Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic, has 13,000 people booked on future cruises.
Cruise & Maritime Voyages are offering ALG customers a 5% discount on inside cabins and 10% on ocean view cabins on top of their current 50% saver fares. The offer covers all sailings across 2017/18. The company is also offering a £50 deposit per person for all cruises fewer than 30 nights.
For agents, CMV will be offering an extra 5% commission for any ALG booking converted over to them.
Cosmos Tours is offering its £50 loyalty discount to customers who booked on an ALG cruise. It will also be running a £50 deposit offer.
Giles Hawke, Cosmos Tours’ CEO commented: “To lose your carefully planned holiday at the beginning of the year is a real disappointment for those looking forward to the relaxation of an ocean cruise.”
He added: “As availability on cruises disappears fast at this time of year with all holiday companies running January sales, we wanted to help disappointed cruise passengers re-book as soon as possible.”
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is offering 25% off its 2017, 2018 and 2019 fares for passengers booked on All Leisure Group cruises. The offer runs out on January 31, 2017.
To make new bookings use the promotional code VJAN25 for Voyages of Discovery-affected guests; and SJAN25 for Swan Hellenic-affected guests.
