Norwegian Cruise Line offers flights for £99
Norwegian Cruise Line is offering flights for £99 as part of its latest incentive.
The fly-cruise offer is available to agents who book their customers on one of NCL’s select 2019 Europe cruises before 30 November 2018. The offer applies to five UK airports: London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow or Edinburgh.
NCL will have five ships in Europe next year: Epic (pictured), Getaway, Pearl, Jade and Spirit.
Available itineraries include Western Mediterranean, 7-nights from Rome and Barcelona; 9-day Baltics from Copenhagen; and 14-day Norwegian Fjords from Amsterdam.
Cruise Adviser joined Norwegian Cruise Line’s business development manager, Kirsty Webb, on the road, to visit travel agencies in the northwest as part of the launch.
Jess Clayton, of Travel Village, said: “This is a big bold campaign that we can really get behind.”
Matthew Roberts, of Cruise1st, said that because 90 per cent of the company’s business was based around repackaging, it was the opportunity to get a pre-cruise stay in Rome that particularly interested him – a possibility because of flexibility around the flight departures.
“We like things that are different,” he explained. “That flexibility opens up the chance of us repackaging a Mediterranean cruise with a stay in Rome. That’s what we find interesting.”
The incentive does not affect Norwegian’s Premium all-inclusive offer, where premium beverages, gratuities and wi-fi are included.
