Richard Sykes joins Voyages to Antiquity as cruise director
Voyages to Antiquity has announced that Richard Sykes is set to become Aegean Odyssey’s cruise director.
Sykes, who has 16 years of experience in cruise, will join the company in March.
He has cruised on the Discovery, Magellan and Marco Polo and is an accomplished musician and vocalist, having performed in tribute shows, comedy cabarets and dance sets.
Sykes said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Aegean Odyssey.
“Voyages to Antiquity represents an exciting new niche for me, with truly incredible ports, plenty of time to take them in and a unique, intimate small-ship experience.
“I’m now in my 16th year on cruise ships – and yet with over a decade of cruising under my belt, the inspired itineraries from Voyages to Antiquity offer destinations that even I have yet to explore. I look forward to experiencing this new adventure along side the Voyages to Antiquity guests.”
Sykes will first join the line on its Ancient Jordan to Classical Greece cruise on March 19.
