Proposed restructure for P&O Cruises and Cunard sales team
Cunard and P&O Cruises have announced plans for a “significant reorganisation” of their sales team.
Carnival UK, the lines’ parent company said, the proposed move will “produce a market leading sales team to drive profitable growth.”
The plans would see a 25 per cent increase in the size of the current team – up to 42 people – which will be headed up by Alex White, Carnival UK VP sales.
The company said this would create “a number of internal and external job opportunities”.
White said the lines “will have greater autonomy, accountability, and the ability to treat each agent on an individual basis.
“Our agent partners have unique business models and as such, need a customised approach to sell our brands, on their distinct merits, to the right customers.”
“The proposed, flatter structure offers autonomy to allow the team to deliver results but with clearly defined accountability.”
