RCI to add Fish & Ships on to Independence of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International is to launch a fish and chips restaurant on Independence of the Seas when it returns to Southampton in May 2018.

The new restaurant, named Fish & Ships, will sit next to the Splashaway Bay waterpark and is the line’s latest announcement regarding the ship’s new culinary offering.

Independence of the Seas is also going to feature a Sugar Beach Candy & Ice Cream Store, selling homemade ice cream and other sweets.

The ship – which is popular with the British market – will be returning to the UK following a multimillion renovation. Other restaurants to be added on board include Izumi, Chops Grille, Giovanni’s Table, Johnny Rockets, Windjammer and the main dining hall.
