Tauck announces new brand ambassador Celia Sandys

Tauck has announced that Celia Sandys, the granddaughter and biographer of Sir Winston Churchill, will join guests on selected itineraries. 

The daughter of Sir Winston Churchill’s eldest child, Diana, and Cabinet Minister Duncan Sandys, Sandys spent considerable time as a teenager with her grandfather in England and during extensive travels abroad.

Sandys will draw on time spent with her grandfather to speak passionately to Tauck guests about his life.

Of her role as Tauck’s brand ambassador, Sandys said: “I joined Tauck because I am passionate about cruising. It is a wonderful way to visit several places without packing and unpacking and staying in a different hotel every night.

“My grandfather Winston Churchill said: ‘I am a man of simple tastes easily satisfied by the best,’ and I certainly think he would have been satisfied by Tauck”.
