The Big Four – adventure: cruises in North America

The Big Four – adventure: cruises in North America

When we told people that we were including cruises to North America within this guide we were met by raised eyebrows. But what’s more adventurous than cruising through Alaska, the Mississippi or indeed the eastern seaboard?

We decided to split these cruises between those with a link to music – such as the American Steamboat trip from Memphis to New Orleans or Holland America’s New York cruise, with itineraries that had something else to offer.

Following on from the publication of Cruise Adviser’s Expedition & Adventure guide 2015-16, each week we will be running our Big Four feature, which gives you a trio of cruise options to choose from. This week it’s cruises to North America.
