The Big Three: ex-UK cruises from Portsmouth and Dover
The south coast of England is where ex-UK cruises really start to come into their own. With destinations such as the Canaries, France and the Mediterranean within a few days sail, it’s not surprising that its popularity has grown. While Southampton has firmly ensconced itself as the country’s cruise capital, Dover and Portsmouth are among two of the busiest cruise ports in the country. While not included in our selection below, both Princess and Voyages to Antiquity are operating cruises out of Dover in 2016. So make sure you have a thorough look when you are researching the perfect ex-UK cruise for your client.
Following on from the publication of Cruise Adviser’s Ex-UK guide 2016, each week we will be running our Big Three feature, which gives you a trio of cruise options to choose from based on regional ports. This week it’s cruises that leave from the south coast (Portsmouth and Dover).
