Janet Parton joins Cosmos

Janet Parton is to join Cosmos Tours & Cruises as head of sales, overseeing strategy for the tour operator as well as its river cruise company Avalon Waterways. 

Parton will be responsible for relationships with agents and third party distributors to generate sales growth through the trade.

She will reunited with Giles Hawke, Cosmos Tours’ CEO, who she worked alongside at Carnival UK.

Parton has also worked for Thomas Cook and, most recently, MSC Cruises where she was head of sales.

Giles Hawke said: “Janet is highly respected in the UK travel trade and embodies the approach we take with our trade partners to be supportive, friendly and business focused.

“As we look to broaden our product portfolio and develop our agency relationships, Janet will be instrumental in helping agents grow their touring and cruise business with us.”

Parton is due to start her role in with Cosmos Tours & Cruises in September.
