Pandaw to offer South America cruises

Expedition cruise line Pandaw has expanded into South America after partnering with Amazon Dream.

The company will be offering five 14-night departures in 2016, which include a hotel stay in Rio de Janeiro, tour of Sugar Loaf Mountain and Iguacu Falls. On day six of the tour passengers will board their Amazon cruise in Santarem.

Commenting on the new partner programme Hugh Clayson, Pandaw’s commercial director, said: “This is an exciting addition to the Pandaw partner programme, which also includes the Brahmaputra, Ganges and Hooghly in India and River Kwai in Thailand. It has been introduced due to requests from Pandaw travellers, who will be able to discover the natural wonders of the great rainforest with its varied wildlife, flora and fauna, and like Pandaw expeditions in Asia will visit friendly local villages and discover the unique way of life of the people living on the Amazon.”
