The sailings are in addition to two current cruises that are on sale – one five night April 17-22 cruise and a seven night cruise to France and Spain on April 22-29. Ovation of the Seas will then take a 52-night Global Odyssey cruise to China, where it will homeport in Tianjin.

The ship has been tailored specifically for the Chinese market.

Stuart Leven, ‎managing director, Royal Caribbean International, UK & Ireland said: “With three short sailings departing from Southampton, British holidaymakers have the very first chance to travel onboard the brand new Ovation of the Seas this spring. Whether it’s having a cocktail mixed by your very own Royal Genie in our Royal Suite Class or taking in the spectacular views from the North Star, Ovation of the Seas is perfect for first timers wanting to enjoy the adventure playground of incredible experiences available right from their doorstep.’’
